Student Housing
Your Home Away From Home
You will be staying on campus in a dorm setting and assigned to a room with one roommate. We trust you will settle in comfortably and want you to consider your dorm room a ‘home away from home’. Rooms are furnished with a twin sized bed, wardrobe with hanging space, and both a shower and toilet. There is also shared storage space underneath the bed for suitcases and storage bins, as well as waterproof bins provided for outside storage.
Suggested Packing List & Information
CLOTHING:
- Casual clothing & shoes suitable for the PNW (rainboots, umbrella, rain jacket, hiking boots)
- Close-Toes Shoes (ideally non-slip)
- Jeans / Pants (no shorts, leggings, or sweatpants allowed during work shifts)
- Church and Special Occasion Clothing
- One-Piece Swimsuit (gals), Swim Trunks (guys)
PERSONAL SUPPLIES:
- Twin sized sheets, blanket, comforter & pillows
- First Aid Kit (band aids, ointments, cold medicine, pain reliever, thermometer, etc.)
- Personal toiletries, soaps & medications
- Laundry detergent & hamper (iron and ironing board provided)

- Towels, bathmat & washcloths

Good to Know:
- It is very windy living by the lake, and rainy – you will often be walking ‘camp’ style grounds through gravel, dirt, and grass, so please pack waterproof shoes and warm, waterproof layers.
- Students must supply their own twin-sized sheets, blankets, comforter, pillow, and towel.
- There are free laundry facilities available near the dorms.
- Storage space is limited, but there is room for storage underneath the outside deck, and under the beds, and a wardrobe is provided for every student.
- Wireless internet access is available for student use in the Library and Student Lounge, but not in the dorm rooms.
- Students may bring personal laptops for use outside of the classroom, but they are not required.
- Students are free to leave campus whenever class or work are not scheduled. We require an overnight sign-out for emergency purposes only.
Student Lounge & Library
Although student dormitories and classroom do not have Wi-Fi, we provide it in our student lounge and library. These spaces are open and available 24/7 through the whole school year, and students are welcome to relax, hang out, and study in these dedicated spaces.
