    #4 The 'Tentmaker' Option
This is a way to take your discipleship experience to the next level! This option is a way for you to completely pay for school by your work ethic. If you're a hard worker and want to serve at the camp during the school year and through the following summer, this is a great way to pay for school. Please contact us to learn more about how it works!

  • Financial Aid

Generous donors and organizations have made private scholarships available to help with tuition, room and board. Students must apply and be accepted to qualify for these funds. We encourage you to seek support from your local church, along with friends and family, presenting the need and desire to attend Adelphia, and asking them to join you in prayer and support. It is exciting to see how the Lord provides for each student.

Adelphia offers financial counseling to students. Since we are a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, those who do not claim the student on their income tax as a dependent may be able to donate on the student’s behalf and may receive a tax-deductible receipt. Family members, friends, and even churches can donate. Please contact your tax adviser.

  • Student Loans

There are private lenders who will make personal loans for Adelphia. Christian Community Credit Union is one of those lenders. They know the value of our program and want to work with our students: Christian Community Credit Union(1) has a very attractive personal loan that can be used to help finance you educational investment. For our students who open a checking account with them they offer a 2% reduction in their already competitive interest rate. You can apply online by clicking here or Call 800.347.2228 x6197 for more information.

    (1) Christian Community Credit Union (CCCU) is not affiliated with either Adelphia Bible School or Lake Retreat Camp. CCCU is listed as an example of a lender who will consider lending to Adelphia students.

  • Campus Work Program

Students may be have opportunity to work for Lake Retreat Camp and Conference Center, where the school is located, on the weekends and in the summer. Students must apply for these jobs and space is limited. Students may apply for work in one or more of the following areas:

    -Food Service (weekends and/or summer)
    -Housekeeping (summer)
    -Recreation (summer)

The camp works with the school to ensure that work schedules do not interfere with classes or mission trips. Students who work for the camp are paid on an hourly basis and may use this income to help offset room and board fees. Students may also work off-site on weekends, however this may limit participation in school weekend activities.
